Day Training

Professional Dog Day Training – Obedience, Socialization & Leash Training
Our Dog Day Training Program is the perfect way to kickstart your pup's behavior transformation! Just like a doggy daycare, you drop off your dog in the morning and pick them up after their full day of learning and fun.
For just $20 an hour, your dog will receive expert, personalized training focused on:
- Basic/Advanced obedience training (sit, stay, recall, down, leave it)
- Leash training and loose-leash walking
- Dog socialization with people and other pets
- Public behavior and environmental neutrality (stores, vets, malls, parks)
- Hands-on puppy training or adult dog behavior modification
Our fully customizable dog training plans are designed to meet your dog’s unique needs, helping with everything from potty training to reactivity, impulse control, and more.
Day Training:
$20 an hour with a minimum of 3 hours
Day training is needed once or twice a week for 2-4 weeks before moving to private lessons or switching to daycare!
Daycare- similar daily schedule with a $5 an hour discount!

Private Lessons

Private Dog Training Lessons & Day Training Packages – Transform Your Dog in 4-12 Weeks!
Whether you begin with our popular day training program or jump right into private dog training lessons, our customizable training packages are designed to help your dog become the best version of themselves in as little as 4-12 weeks!
We recommend one private dog training session per week, with results depending on how consistent you are with the training homework between sessions. With dedication and follow-through, you’ll see fast, lasting progress in your dog’s behavior.
Each private dog training lesson lasts 60 to 90 minutes and focuses on:
- Teaching YOU the tools to successfully train and manage your dog
- Customized obedience training for your dog’s specific needs
- Building focus, impulse control, and confidence
- Correcting unwanted behaviors like jumping, barking, pulling, and reactivity
- Strengthening your bond through positive reinforcement dog training techniques
Private Lessons:
60-90 minutes
$45 per private lesson once a week for 4-8 weeks with or without day training

About Howl to Heel

Hi! I’m Delfin Muller, founder of Howl to Heel LLC, an up-and-coming dog training business in Harrisonburg, Virginia, proudly serving the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas. My passion for dog behavior and obedience training began when I was just 13, diving into trick training and the world of canine learning.

At 14, I began working under an animal nutritionist and certified dog massage therapist, which led me to an incredible opportunity to apprentice under a local professional dog trainer. Over the next five years, I gained real-world experience as a kennel attendant, dog training assistant, and animal shelter volunteer, dedicating my time to understanding dogs from all walks of life.

My dream became a reality when I enrolled at Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers, where I earned my Master Dog Trainer Certification—a comprehensive program focused on canine obedience, behavior modification, working dog training, and more.

Today, as a certified dog trainer, I specialize in helping dog owners rebuild and strengthen their bond with their four-legged companions (yes, that’s the meaning behind Howl to Heel—healing relationships through training).
